About the Tradition
The New Kadampa Tradition is a Mahayana Buddhist Tradition that aims to make Buddha’s teachings accessible to everyone. Since our lives are so busy, we need a special way of developing & maintaining inner peace. The system of meditation taught in our tradition is perfectly suited to the modern world, being easy to understand and put into practice, yet bringing profound results.

About the Teachers
Our Spiritual Guide
Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso brought this tradition to the west 28 years go, and since then has established nearly 900 Buddhist Centres and Groups worldwide. He is a fully accomplished meditation master and scholar, who shows through his pure example how to lead a meaningful life and bring benefit to others.
Our Resident Teacher
Our resident or main teacher is Gen Kelsang Rigma. An ordained Nun for over ten years now, Gen Rigma has received many teachings from Geshe-la, and so is perfectly qualified to teach Buddha's instructions that are essential to help ourself and others realise pure happiness. Due to the very clear and accessible nature of Gen Rigma's teachings, we shall find it easy to apply them in our daily life.
